Antigua Sailing Week 2016
Widely regarded as the premier sailing event in the Caribbean, this is one of the top five world events - it's a great mix of racing and partying. We offer a nine day package, including two days training followed by five days of highly competitive racing. We offer both whole boat charter, and individual crew spaces.
What to expect:
This event runs during April 21st-April 30th 2016. Join from 16:00 on the 21st, depart any time on the 30th. 9 days, 9 nights on board.
On arrival in Antigua, after joining Skyelark in the event village at Nelson's Dockyard you'll have the chance to meet your fellow crew members and have some time to relax, explore the area and settle in onboard. Next will be our first training day where we focus on getting used to the boat and finding your sea legs as we practise safety drills, boat manoeuvres and sail handling out on the water.
On training day two we will concentrate on getting the best out of the boat, finding crew positions, trimming and spinnaker work. Then the racing begins!
